Richard explained, ‘The very nature of policing – it’s a very dynamic environment to work in… if the government or College of Policing or locally there is an overnight change in law or legislation we have to react to that. We need to make sure products are available to keep staff safe and lawful and up to speed with the latest information.’ Their old LMS offered limited functionality and an outdated interface, making quick content development and deployment nearly impossible.

Thinqi also makes it easier than ever for frontline staff to access learning content once it's created. ‘We can give our frontline staff simple links to directly access the learning content they need,’ Richard stated. He contrasted this with their previous process: ‘Previously we would send out emails that would say you need to access learning here by clicking onto this link, going into this pathway and having to find it.’ Now, communication includes ‘a single link from the Thinqi site directly to that piece of learning or material with single sign-on so they don’t have to remember a username or password…they go straight in and undertake the learning.’ This seamless, direct access ensures that vital updates and learning are consumed efficiently, directly supporting staff in staying safe, lawful, and effective.
