Smart Teaching content is being used by Welsh Government. Welsh Government is a recognised policy and practice leader, utilising digital and pedagogically innovative approaches for the delivery of curricula to Wales’ children and young people.

Smart Teaching e-learning modules follow a linear structure. Each module is broken down into units. Practitioners should work through the modules and units sequentially. After completing the e-learning modules, practitioners will be asked to attend several synchronous remote workshops at a date and time to be arranged.

The e-learning modules can be consumed and activities can be completed at a time that is most convenient for practitioners. Reflective workshops are organised on a synchronous-remote basis and therefore attendance at an advertised time and date is essential for live participation and contribution.

The e-learning modules are broken down into units, each of which has a suggested time for completion as follows:

Module 1
Unit 1 – 15 minutes
Unit 2 – 3 hours
Unit 3 – 3.5 hours
Unit 4 – 1 hour

Module 2
Unit 1 – 30 minutes
Unit 2 – 2.5 hours
Unit 3 – 2.5 hours

Module 3
Unit 1 – 45 minutes
Unit 2 – 2.5 hours
Unit 3 – 5 hours

Module 4
Unit 1 – 2 hours
Unit 2 – 4 hours
Unit 3 – 5 hours

Total – 32.5 hours

The e-learning modules are followed by several synchronous remote workshops at a date and time to be arranged.
